Commuters Club TU is a low-commitment social and support organization for Temple University students who commute to campus. Because commuters make up a large portion of Temple’s population yet often have fewer tailored resources and events, our purpose is to better integrate commuter students into campus life and help them feel connected, informed, and supported. We host fun, flexible events that fit commuters’ schedules, including game nights, trips into Center City, and other social activities driven by member interest. Our goal is to create a welcoming community where commuters can meet people they relate to, build lasting friendships, and feel more at home at Temple. In addition to social events, we offer information, mentorship, and advocacy around commuter-specific needs—especially for new students navigating campus and city life for the first time. There are no dues and no membership requirements; all Temple commuters are welcome to join and participate as their schedule allows.
